Inno3D is stepping up its game by introducing the sleek single-slot iChill Frostbite Pro water-cooled variants for its GeForce RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 graphics cards.
Previously available in dual-slot designs, the iChill Frostbite series, crafted by Alphacool, caters to custom-loop enthusiasts eager to maximize their water-cooling gear. Now, responding to popular demand, Inno3D expands the lineup with the innovative iChill Frostbite Pro models.
These new versions maintain the legacy of the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 cards but come with exciting enhancements. Notably, Inno3D now employs a non-acrylic waterblock from Alphacool, presenting a single-slot design. This means users can install up to four GPUs within a custom-loop setup, making it perfect for those diving into AI or workstation tasks without sacrificing graphical performance.
The design features a sophisticated carbon fiber texture on the waterblock’s front, while the connectors are repositioned to the back of the card for a cleaner look. The cards boast a custom PCB solution with four display outputs, maintaining a compact appearance. Additionally, a custom backplate ensures efficient cooling for components on the rear side.
Inno3D has shared that the iChill Frostbite Pro series will offer slightly higher clock speeds for both the RTX 5090 and RTX 5080 GPUs, though this enhancement will come with a slightly higher price tag compared to the standard Frostbite GPU series.
While they’re still fine-tuning the waterblock implementation, Inno3D hasn’t revealed the exact price or availability date. Rest assured, updates will follow as more details become available.
