Infinix Prepares to Launch a New Ultra-Slim Laptop Competing with MacBook Air

In the competitive market of ultra-slim laptops, Infinix is set to introduce a new contender that might give Apple’s MacBook Air a run for its money. The upcoming Infinix laptop has been teased in a recent leak, and it is targeting the ultralight segment of the laptop market. Weighing in at an approximate 1 kilogram, it’s designed to be exceptionally portable without sacrificing performance.

Speculations hint at the laptop sporting a 14-inch QHD+ (2880×1800) AMOLED display, promising vibrant colors and deep blacks, along with the smooth visuals provided by a 120Hz refresh rate. The name suggested for this sleek device is the INBook Air Pro, and there may also be a more advanced variant known as the Pro Plus or Pro+.

Regarding its computing power, the only processor associated with it at the moment is the Intel Core i5-1334U. The device is expected to be equipped with up to 16GB of 4,266MHz LPDDR4X RAM and a sizable 512GB SSD for storage, striking a balance between efficiency and capacity.

Such specifications place the INBook Air Pro or Pro+ as a strong candidate in the ultrabook market, particularly in regions like India. Here, the pricing of Apple’s laptops, such as the M1-based MacBook Air which is currently available on Amazon starting at around INR 67,990 ($810), is a critical factor. The latest M3 variant of the MacBook sits at a price point of INR 1,04,990 ($1,251) with 8GB of RAM, potentially leaving room for Infinix to capture the attention of cost-conscious consumers seeking a high-quality ultrabook experience.

This new offering from Infinix could shake up the ultraportable laptop segment by providing users with an alternative that blends sleek design, impressive display technology, and solid performance. Tech enthusiasts and potential buyers on the lookout for a lightweight yet powerful laptop should keep an eye on Infinix’s next move as more details emerge.
