Xiaomi is widening access to its next big software release. HyperOS 3, built on Android 16, is now in closed beta for a new wave of Xiaomi and Redmi devices, giving early adopters a chance to test-drive features and help squash bugs ahead of the stable rollout.

– Xiaomi MIX Fold 4
– Xiaomi MIX Flip
– Xiaomi 14 Ultra
– Xiaomi 14 Ultra Titanium Edition
– Xiaomi 14 Pro
– Xiaomi 14 Pro Titanium Edition
– Xiaomi 14

How the beta works
– Availability: This is a closed beta limited to Chinese models for now.
– Application: Users with a China ROM can request a spot through the Xiaomi Community app.
– Recruitment: Testers are selected in two batches per device. The first batch receives the update right away; the second batch may wait up to 10 days.
– Preparation: Carefully read the instructions in the app and back up your data before installing any beta software.
Global users shouldn’t have to wait long. Similar beta programs have already begun for select international models such as the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, Xiaomi 14T, POCO F7, Redmi 15C, and POCO C85, signaling that a broader rollout is approaching.
Stable update timeline
– China: The stable HyperOS 3 release begins in November for the Xiaomi 14 series, MIX Fold 4, MIX Flip, and the Redmi K70 lineup.
– Global: The Xiaomi 14 family, POCO F6 Pro (Redmi K70), POCO X6 Pro (Redmi K70E), and Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4 are slated to follow starting in November, with the full global rollout continuing into December.
If you own an eligible device with a China ROM and want to get in early, apply via the Xiaomi Community app and keep an eye on recruitment notices. As always with pre-release software, expect occasional bugs, and make sure to back up your files before you install.
