Husqvarna Introduces New Nera Robot Lawn Mowers Equipped with Innovative EdgeCut Technology

Husqvarna has officially introduced its latest range of robotic lawn mowers in Europe, the 310E Nera and the 410XE Nera, boasting advanced features aimed at ensuring pristine lawns with minimal effort. Both models are designed to cater to lawns of approximately 1,000 square meters (around 10,800 square feet) and are capable of handling slopes with an incline of up to 30%. The standard boundary setup involves a physical perimeter wire, but for those looking for a more advanced solution, an optional upgrade is available to integrate the EPOS system, enabling the creation of a virtual map for navigation.

A distinguishing factor between the two models is their navigational technology: the 310E is equipped with quad-search technology, whereas the 410XE benefits from penta-search technology, which facilitates an additional method to locate its charging station efficiently. Each mower is powered by a durable lithium-ion battery, with the 310E featuring a 2Ah battery that supports a mowing time of 50 minutes, while the 410XE’s 5Ah battery extends operation to 100 minutes. The robots are engineered to recharge autonomously as required.

Control and customization are made convenient through Husqvarna’s Automower Connect app, which connects to the mowers via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. Users are able to adjust the cutting height from 20 to 50 mm, activate the built-in alarm system, and with the 410XE model, even monitor the device’s GPS location. Additionally, a user-friendly color TFT display interface on the mower allows for direct adjustments and the mowers are compatible with a range of smart home ecosystems.

The mowers feature the EdgeCut technology for precise lawn edging, an obstacle avoidance system, and a weather timer for optimized operation under varying conditions. Pricing for the cutting-edge Husqvarna Automower 310E Nera is set at £1,999/€2,199 and £2,399/€2,699 for the 410XE Nera. Opting for the enhanced functionality of the EPOS system will increase the price to £2,697 for the 310E and £3,097 for the 410XE. These high-tech gardening companions are scheduled to be available in Europe from March 4th, marking a step forward in convenient and smart lawn maintenance.
