Huion Note E Launches as an Android Digital Notebook With EMR Stylus and Paper-Like Display
Huion has introduced the Note E, a new digital note-taking tablet aimed at users who want a lightweight device for writing, organizing tasks, sketching ideas, and reading with improved comfort. Priced at $369 / €369, the Huion Note E is now available through Huion’s official store and Amazon.
Unlike many digital notebooks that rely on e-ink displays, the Huion Note E uses an 8.4-inch IPS screen. Huion describes the display as offering a paper-like viewing experience, making it an interesting option for students, professionals, and creators who want a more traditional tablet feel while still focusing on note-taking. The screen features a 1,920 × 1,080 resolution, a 60 Hz refresh rate, a typical 30 ms response time, and 300 nits of typical brightness.
One of the biggest highlights of the Huion Note E is its included EMR stylus. Because it uses electro-magnetic resonance technology, the pen does not need a battery or charging. That makes it more convenient for daily writing sessions, quick annotations, meeting notes, and creative work. The stylus supports 8,192 levels of pressure sensitivity, allowing for more natural line thickness and control, and it also includes tilt detection for a more realistic writing and drawing experience.
The tablet also supports ten-point multitouch and gesture controls, giving users flexibility when navigating documents, zooming into notes, or switching between apps. Since the Huion Note E runs Android 15, it offers more freedom than many closed digital notebook systems. Users can install apps, manage files, and use the device for more than just handwritten notes.
Inside, the Huion Note E is powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, paired with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. This hardware setup should be suitable for note-taking, reading, productivity apps, and light multitasking. Huion has also added its own launcher on top of Android, designed to provide fast access to notes, to-do lists, and everyday productivity tools.
Portability is another key feature. The Note E weighs 348 g, or about 0.77 lb, making it easy to carry in a backpack, handbag, or office folder. For security and quick unlocking, the tablet includes a fingerprint sensor built into the power button.
Huion also includes a magnetic protective case with the tablet, so buyers do not need to purchase a separate cover immediately. The package comes with the tablet, stylus, and protective case, making it a complete note-taking setup out of the box.
With its Android 15 software, battery-free EMR pen, pressure-sensitive writing experience, and compact design, the Huion Note E is positioned as a practical digital notebook for people who want a balance between handwritten input and tablet flexibility. It may appeal to students, office workers, writers, planners, and anyone looking for a portable device for digital notes without giving up access to Android apps.
