Huawei Watch Fit 5 and Fit 5 Pro Leaks Reveal Full Specs and Features Ahead of Launch

Huawei appears ready to bring back its Apple Watch Ultra-inspired smartwatch look with the upcoming Watch Fit 5 series. Ahead of an official announcement, a fresh leak has revealed a detailed picture of what to expect from the Huawei Watch Fit 5 and the more premium Watch Fit 5 Pro, including display specs, battery life, sensors, durability ratings, connectivity features, and expected pricing. If the information holds up, both models will cost more than last year’s versions.

Huawei Watch Fit 5: leaked specs and features

The Huawei Watch Fit 5 is tipped to arrive with a 1.82-inch AMOLED display featuring a 480 x 408 resolution. That works out to roughly 347 ppi, which should be sharp for text, notifications, and workout stats. The screen is also said to get very bright, reaching up to 2,500 nits across 80% of the panel, making it easier to read outdoors.

Protection is expected to come from Li-AL-Silicon glass, while the body reportedly uses a full aluminum case. The Watch Fit 5 is also expected to stay lightweight at about 27.5 grams, a plus for sleep tracking and all-day wear.

Battery life and durability for Watch Fit 5 and Watch Fit 5 Pro

Both the Watch Fit 5 and Watch Fit 5 Pro are rumored to use the same 471 mAh battery. The leak claims up to 10 days of battery life in ideal conditions, around seven days with typical usage, and up to four days with the always-on display enabled.

On the durability side, both models are said to carry an IP6X rating for dust resistance and protection against water exposure. For health and fitness tracking, both watches are expected to include Huawei’s TruSense technology and a strong set of sensors, including:
– Accelerometer and gravity sensors
– Heart rate sensor
– Body temperature sensor
– Magnetometer
– Barometer
– Light sensor

Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro: bigger screen, brighter display, premium materials

The Huawei Watch Fit 5 Pro is positioned as a clear step up in materials and features. It’s rumored to use an aluminum main frame paired with a titanium outer frame, along with sapphire glass protection over the display, which is typically more scratch-resistant than standard watch glass.

The Pro’s display is said to measure 1.92 inches, while keeping the same 480 x 408 resolution. Because the screen is larger at the same resolution, pixel density would be slightly lower than the standard Watch Fit 5, though it may not be noticeable in daily use. Brightness, however, is expected to jump significantly, with the Watch Fit 5 Pro reportedly reaching up to 3,500 nits.

Connectivity is also expected to be upgraded, with the leak pointing to Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and GPS on the Watch Fit 5 Pro. In addition to the IP6X rating, the Pro model is said to be rated for water immersion up to 40 meters, suggesting a more swim- and water-sport-friendly design.

It may also add higher-end wellness tools, including a depth sensor and an ECG function—features that could appeal to buyers who want more advanced health tracking from a fitness-focused smartwatch.

Huawei Watch Fit 5 and Watch Fit 5 Pro: rumored colors and price in Europe

The leak suggests Huawei will offer the Watch Fit 5 in black, white, silver/green, and purple, with a price of €199 (around $235). The Watch Fit 5 Pro is said to come in black, white, and orange, priced at €299 (around $353). If accurate, both models would be slightly more expensive than their predecessors.

No launch date is mentioned in the leak, but since the previous Watch Fit generation arrived in May, the timing points to a reveal that could be coming soon.
