Huawei Surpasses $128 Billion in 2025 Revenue, But Growth Slows to 2%

Huawei has posted another blockbuster year, with its 2025 annual revenue climbing past CNY 880 billion (about US$127.6 billion). The result confirms the company’s resilience and its ability to keep expanding despite a challenging global environment. At the same time, the latest figures also signal a shift in pace: while revenue remains enormous, overall growth has cooled to around 2%, suggesting Huawei is moving from rapid rebound to steadier, more measured expansion.

A major reason Huawei was able to push revenue to this level is its accelerating focus on artificial intelligence. Across the tech industry, AI is reshaping everything from consumer devices to enterprise infrastructure, and Huawei has been positioning itself to capture that demand. AI-related solutions and capabilities have become an increasingly important engine for the business, supporting new products and encouraging upgrades across multiple segments.

Another key driver is HarmonyOS and the broader HarmonyOS ecosystem. Huawei’s strategy has centered on building a tightly connected software and services platform that can power smartphones, tablets, wearables, smart home devices, and more. As the ecosystem grows, it strengthens user retention and opens additional opportunities for revenue through app services, device integration, and cross-platform experiences. In simple terms, the more HarmonyOS expands, the more it can reinforce Huawei’s hardware sales and create recurring value beyond the initial device purchase.

The headline number is clear: Huawei remains a revenue heavyweight, and its AI and HarmonyOS initiatives are helping to keep momentum alive. But the slowdown to roughly 2% growth is equally notable, pointing to a more mature phase where scaling further will likely depend on deeper ecosystem adoption, stronger AI commercialization, and continued product innovation. For Huawei, 2025 looks like a year of massive scale and strategic progress—even as the growth curve starts to level out.
