Huawei Qingyun H3550 Smartwatch Debuts With Bright 2,500-Nit Display, GPS, NFC, and Up to 10 Days of Battery Life
Huawei has introduced the Qingyun H3550, a new smartwatch aimed mainly at business users and workplace environments. The wearable combines productivity-focused features with fitness tracking, long battery life, and customization options for companies buying the device for employees.
One of the standout features of the Huawei Qingyun H3550 is its bright 2,500-nit display, designed to remain easy to read even in strong outdoor lighting. This makes the smartwatch practical for both office use and outdoor activities such as running, cycling, or commuting.
Huawei has also added a unique workout coach to the watch. Instead of a standard fitness assistant, the Qingyun H3550 uses a cartoon panda-style coach to guide users through simple exercises. These workouts are designed to be done at a desk without special equipment or preparation, making the feature especially useful for office workers who spend long hours sitting.
For fitness tracking, the smartwatch includes a built-in GPS module. This allows users to track running and cycling routes, distance, and movement data without needing to carry a smartphone. The device also comes with NFC support, enabling contactless payments and allowing the smartwatch to function as a digital key in supported environments.
Battery life is another key selling point. Huawei says the Qingyun H3550 can last up to 10 days in power-saving mode. With regular use, the smartwatch is rated for up to seven days, while enabling the always-on display reduces battery life to around four days.
The Qingyun H3550 is not positioned as a typical consumer smartwatch. Instead, Huawei is targeting business customers with options tailored for corporate deployment. Companies can customize several elements when purchasing the watch for employees, including the packaging, startup logo, watch faces, and bundled straps.
Huawei has not yet announced the official price or release date for the Qingyun H3550 smartwatch. More details on availability are expected once the company confirms its launch plans for business buyers.
