HP EliteBook 8 G2i 13 Debuts as a Slim Business Laptop With Intel Panther Lake Power

HP has introduced a new compact business laptop aimed at professionals who want strong performance, portability, and a bright display in a travel-friendly design. The EliteBook 8 G2i 13 is built around Intel’s Panther Lake processor, positioning it as a modern productivity machine for office work, remote meetings, multitasking, and daily business use.

One of the key highlights is its slim and lightweight chassis. The laptop measures 301.8 x 214.9 x 11.8 to 15.5 mm and weighs just 1.31 kg, making it easy to carry between meetings, commute with, or use while working on the go. Despite its compact size, HP has equipped it with a 62 Wh battery, along with support for up to 100 W charging, which should help users get back to work quickly when the battery runs low.

The EliteBook 8 G2i 13 features a 13.3-inch IPS display with a 16:10 aspect ratio, giving users more vertical screen space compared to traditional 16:9 panels. In parts of Europe, the same memory and storage setup is listed at €2,497, though that version comes with a 400-nit display instead. HP is also offering a higher-memory option in the UK with 32 GB of RAM, priced at £1,889.
