HP has adjusted the pricing for its new Googlebook 14, making the premium 14-inch laptop slightly more accessible for buyers looking for a Snapdragon-powered Windows machine with a high-end display and modern connectivity.
The HP Googlebook 14 originally launched with a starting price of $1,299. That version includes 16 GB of RAM and a 512 GB SSD, and the same price is still shown by Best Buy. However, HP is now offering a cheaper entry-level configuration through its own pricing, bringing the starting cost down to $1,199. The lower price comes with one key change: storage drops from 512 GB to a 256 GB SSD.
For users who want more memory and performance headroom, HP also offers a configuration with the Snapdragon X Elite X1E-80-100 processor paired with 32 GB of RAM. That model starts at $1,589. Buyers can then choose between storage upgrades, with a 512 GB SSD available for an additional $80 and a 1 TB SSD available for an extra $280. Fully configured, the HP Googlebook 14 reaches a top price of $1,869.
Even with the new lower starting price, HP is keeping the laptop’s premium features across all configurations. Every model includes Wi-Fi 7 support, a large 70 Wh battery, and a 14-inch 2.8K OLED display.
