HP Unveils 14-Inch Powerhouse Laptop With Blazing 1,100-Nit OLED Display and 32GB RAM

HP Launches a New 14-Inch Laptop With a Bright 1,100-Nit OLED Display

HP has introduced a new 14-inch laptop aimed at users who want a premium portable PC with a sharp OLED screen, modern wireless connectivity, and flexible configuration options. One of the biggest highlights is its upgraded display choice, which gives buyers the option to move beyond the standard 1200p OLED panel.

For those who want a sharper and more immersive viewing experience, HP offers an 1800p OLED display with a resolution of 2,880 x 1,800 pixels. This higher-end panel is designed for users who spend time watching HDR content, editing visuals, browsing, streaming, or working on detailed projects. It also supports a 120 Hz variable refresh rate, making scrolling, animations, and supported video content feel smoother.

Brightness is another major selling point. In standard SDR use, the 1800p OLED display can reach up to 500 nits, which should be more than enough for most indoor environments. When viewing HDR content, HP says the panel can climb as high as 1,100 nits, delivering stronger highlights and a more vivid image. Combined with OLED’s deep blacks and strong contrast, this display option should appeal to users who value screen quality in a compact laptop.

HP is also offering several hardware choices at checkout. Storage options include 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB, giving buyers room to choose based on their budget and needs. Those who mostly use cloud storage may find the lower-capacity option sufficient, while users who keep large files, media libraries, apps, and creative projects on-device may prefer the 1 TB version.

Wireless connectivity can also be configured. Buyers can choose between Bluetooth 5.4 with Wi-Fi 6 or step up to Bluetooth 6.0 with Wi-Fi 7. The Wi-Fi 7 option is especially attractive for users who want a more future-ready laptop, particularly if they have or plan to upgrade to a compatible router.

Pricing starts at $1,299 for the base configuration. However, the cost increases significantly with premium upgrades. A model equipped with 32 GB of RAM, the 1800p OLED display, 1 TB of storage, and Wi-Fi 7 connectivity reaches $1,949.

HP also offers three color choices. Glacier Silver comes as the standard finish, while Starlit Blue adds $20 to the price. Sahara Silver is available as a higher-cost color upgrade for an additional $40.

With its compact 14-inch design, bright OLED display option, high refresh rate, and modern connectivity features, HP’s new laptop is positioned as a strong choice for students, professionals, and everyday users who want a stylish Windows laptop with a premium screen. The combination of portability, display quality, and configurable hardware makes it a compelling option in the growing market for lightweight productivity laptops.
