Honor Watch 6 Plus Motorcycle Edition Debuts With Huge Battery Life and Ultra-Bright AMOLED Display
Honor has introduced the Watch 6 Plus Motorcycle Edition in China, a feature-packed smartwatch aimed at users who want long battery life, outdoor visibility, and robust health and fitness tracking in one wearable.
One of the biggest highlights of the Honor Watch 6 Plus is its large 1,000 mAh battery. According to the company, the smartwatch can last up to 35 days in power-saving mode or around 17 days with regular daily use. That makes it a strong option for users who do not want to charge their smartwatch every few days.
The watch is equipped with a 1.46-inch AMOLED display that reaches an impressive peak brightness of 3,000 nits. This should make the screen easy to read in bright sunlight, which is especially useful for outdoor workouts, navigation, and everyday use while on the move.
For health tracking, the Honor Watch 6 Plus includes heart rate monitoring and SpO2 blood oxygen tracking. It also offers a feature designed to help assess the risk of high blood pressure, adding another layer of wellness monitoring for users who want more insight into their health.
Fitness features are also a major focus. The smartwatch supports more than 120 sports modes, covering a wide range of activities and workouts. Whether users are running, cycling, training indoors, or tracking outdoor sports, the Watch 6 Plus is built to provide detailed activity data.
Honor has also added practical smartwatch features such as built-in speakers and microphones, allowing users to handle calls directly from the watch. NFC support is included as well, alongside a GPS module for route tracking and location-based features without relying entirely on a connected phone.
The smartwatch body uses a mix of stainless steel, aluminum, and plastic. It is also rated for 5 ATM water resistance, meaning it can withstand water exposure during daily use, workouts, and swimming-related activities.
However, the Honor Watch 6 Plus is not the most compact wearable. It measures 46.5 mm in diameter and 10.8 mm thick, with a weight of 41 grams. Users who prefer smaller and lighter smartwatches may find it a bit large on the wrist, but the size helps accommodate the large battery and bright display.
The Honor Watch 6 Plus Motorcycle Edition is priced at CNY 1,599 in China, which is around $235. This makes it CNY 400, or about $59, more expensive than the standard Honor Watch 6 Plus.
For now, Honor has not confirmed whether the Watch 6 Plus Motorcycle Edition will launch in global markets.
