These products have elicited considerable interest and expand HONOR’s portfolio in the tech arena.
The Porsche Design HONOR Magic V2 RSR Makes Its Global Debut
The most striking of the announced products is certainly the Porsche Design HONOR Magic V2 RSR. This device is the result of a collaboration with Porsche Design and brings a premium feel to the smartphone market. Under the hood, it features the same specifications as the standard HONOR Magic V2, but boasts enhanced configurations including 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and an impressive 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The phone is driven by the powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.
Unique Agate Gray Color and Sleek Design
The Porsche Design model is offered in an exclusive Agate Gray color, reflecting the aesthetic of its automotive inspiration. A reimagined camera array and a redesigned backplate differentiate it from the regular version, yet maintaining a sleek and sophisticated profile. This smartphone stands out with its ultra-thin design, measuring just 9.9mm when folded and 4.8mm when unfolded, and is light to hold at under 240 grams.
Advanced Displays and Camera System
Featuring two 120Hz LTPO OLED screens, the Porsche Design HONOR Magic V2 RSR ensures a smooth visual experience, while expertly concealing the foldable display’s crease. The device is fitted with three rear cameras, boasting a 50-megapixel primary sensor, 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 20-megapixel telephoto lens with 2.5x optical zoom.
Inside, there’s a silicon-carbon 5,000mAh battery capable of 66W wired charging, plus 5W reverse wired charging capability, and it comes with two charging bricks for international compatibility. The phone is priced at €2,699 and is available for pre-order, with sales starting on March 18.
HONOR Pad 9: A Versatile Tablet for Various Uses
The HONOR Pad 9 is a substantial tablet with a 12.1-inch metal and glass body and a high-resolution TFT LCD display of 2560×1600, designed to minimize glare. It runs on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor and comes with choices of 8GB or 12GB RAM and up to 512GB storage space. The tablet ships with Android 13 and the MagicOS 7.2 overlay.
An ample 8,300mAh battery powers the device, supporting 35W wired charging. Moreover, it boasts 8 speakers, two microphones, a 13-megapixel rear camera, and an 8-megapixel front camera for video calls. It also includes Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity and a USB Type-C port.
