Honor has unveiled a teaser for the Magic6 RSR Porsche Design, signaling the continuation of its partnership with Porsche Design. This new iteration is poised to be a special edition of the Magic6 series, specifically a reimagined Magic6 Pro.
Following their first joint venture with the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design, Honor is now gearing up to captivate fans with the Magic6 RSR Porsche Design. Responding to the growing anticipation, the tech company has also disclosed UK and European pricing details for the Magic V2 RSR Porsche Design. In addition to the Magic6 Pro, Honor’s display at MWC 2024 includes the MagicBook Pro 16 and the Pad 9, showcasing their latest tech portfolio.
While specifics about the Magic6 RSR Porsche Design remain scant, the press release has offered some insight into what we can expect. The design of the smartphone draws inspiration from the high-octane world of motorsports, particularly with its high-performance camera placement, ensconced within a geometry reminiscent of Porsche’s iconic racecars.
Hints during the MWC 2024 presentation suggested unique features, including an atypical hexagonal camera housing setting it apart from other Magic6 devices. Additionally, the brief glimpse of an ‘100X’ inscription indicates the Magic6 RSR Porsche Design could boast an advanced digital zoom capability.
For context, the standard Magic6 tops out at 50x in digital zoom, whereas the Magic6 Pro’s 180 MP telephoto camera impressively reaches 100x digital magnification. This attribute leads to the inference that the Magic6 RSR Porsche Design edition might share more in common with the Magic6 Pro, rather than the base Magic6 model as its moniker could suggest.
