Honor Robot Phone import prices revealed: Europe and other markets can already order the unusual gimbal camera flagship
Honor’s new Robot Phone is shaping up to be one of the most eye-catching flagship camera phones of the year. Unlike typical premium smartphones that rely only on large sensors, advanced image processing, and multiple lenses, this device stands out with a built-in 3-axis gimbal system designed to improve stabilization and camera movement.
For smartphone photography fans, mobile filmmakers, and tech enthusiasts who want something truly different, the Honor Robot Phone is now available to import from several retailers. However, getting one outside China will not come cheap.
In China, Honor priced the Robot Phone at a level usually reserved for foldable smartphones and top-tier ultra-premium models. The 12GB RAM and 512GB storage version costs 10,000 yuan, which is roughly 1,285 euros or US$1,480. The higher-end 1TB version is priced at 13,000 yuan, around 1,670 euros or US$1,930.
Import prices are significantly higher. Retailers including AverageDad, Trinity Electronics, and Giztop have already listed the Honor Robot Phone for buyers in Europe and other regions. At the moment, the device does not appear to be available through every well-known China phone importer, but availability could expand soon.
For the entry-level 12GB/512GB model, import pricing starts at around 1,740 euros, or approximately US$1,999 to US$2,014, depending on the retailer. AverageDad lists the same model slightly higher at about 1,790 euros, or around US$2,072.
The more expensive 16GB/1TB version pushes the price even further. Current listings show prices ranging from about 2,203 euros, or US$2,549, up to roughly 2,385 euros, or US$2,763. That means buyers outside China are looking at a markup of around 30 to 36 percent compared with the official Chinese pricing.
Taxes and import costs may also vary depending on the retailer and destination country. AverageDad appears to include taxes in its pricing. Giztop indicates that taxes may be included for buyers in the European Union, though this may not apply to customers in the United States or the United Kingdom. Trinity Electronics does not clearly state tax details, so buyers should check carefully before ordering.
Both color options are currently listed by the import retailers, with shipping expected to begin around August 19 and August 20.
A wider international release may also be on the way. A global product page for the Honor Robot Phone already exists, suggesting that Honor could eventually launch the device outside China through official channels. If that happens, the official global price may still be higher than the Chinese price, especially once taxes, regional pricing, and distribution costs are included.
The Honor Robot Phone is not just another camera-focused Android flagship. Its built-in 3-axis gimbal gives it a unique position in the premium smartphone market, especially for users who prioritize video recording, stabilization, and creative camera features. But with import prices climbing well above US$2,000 for some configurations, this is clearly a device aimed at early adopters and serious mobile photography fans rather than mainstream buyers.
