Honor Play 11 Pro debuts as a slim budget 5G phone with a massive 7,000 mAh battery
Honor has quietly expanded its Play 11 series with a new affordable 5G smartphone, the Honor Play 11 Pro. The device arrives as a close sibling to the Honor Play 11 Plus, which was introduced in China earlier in 2026, but it brings one notable twist: a flat OLED display packed into a sleek and lightweight design.
One of the biggest highlights of the Honor Play 11 Pro is its battery. Despite measuring just 7.34 mm thick, the phone houses a large 7,000 mAh battery, making it a strong option for users who want long battery life without carrying a bulky device. Honor says the battery is built to maintain at least 80% of its original capacity after 1,000 charging cycles, which should appeal to buyers looking for better long-term durability.
The phone also supports 45 W wired charging, giving users a practical balance between endurance and fast top-ups. At 185 grams, the Honor Play 11 Pro weighs the same as the Play 11 Plus, keeping the handset relatively light considering the battery size.
In terms of display, the Honor Play 11 Pro features a 6.6-inch flat OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution. It supports a 120 Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations, while peak brightness is rated at an impressive 6,500 nits. This should make the device easier to use outdoors and more enjoyable for watching videos, browsing, and gaming.
Powering the smartphone is the MediaTek Dimensity 6500 chipset, paired with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal storage. Honor has not included expandable storage, so users will need to rely on the built-in capacity. For software, the phone ships with MagicOS 10 based on Android 16. However, Honor has not yet shared details about how many Android upgrades or security updates the device will receive.

Color options include Sunrise Gold, Midnight Black, and Moon Silver. In China, the Honor Play 11 Pro is available for reservation in a single 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage configuration, priced at CNY 2,099, which is approximately $310.
