Honor Magic V6 Set to Debut With Lightning-Fast Charging and a Major Power Upgrade

Honor is getting ready to unveil its next-generation foldable, the Magic V6, and it’s already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about devices headed into MWC 2026. The company has officially confirmed that the Magic V6 will debut next month in Barcelona during Mobile World Congress, which runs from March 2 to March 6. Honor will step into the spotlight even earlier, with its official presentation set for March 1.

While Honor hasn’t revealed every key spec yet, a fresh regulatory listing offers a major clue about one area where the Magic V6 could pull ahead of both its predecessor and rival foldables: charging speed. According to certification details from the CCC, the Honor Magic V6 is expected to support 120W wired fast charging. That would be a huge leap over the Magic V5, which tops out at 67W via a wired connection, and it could translate into dramatically shorter charging times in real-world use.

If this leak holds, the Magic V6 wouldn’t just be faster than the Magic V5. It would also have a strong advantage versus other upcoming premium foldables, where charging speeds have often lagged behind traditional flagship phones.

The certification information also reinforces earlier reports that Honor plans to offer two versions of the Magic V6. The two model numbers—PNM-AN10 and PNM-AN20—are expected to be largely similar, with one notable difference: the PNM-AN20 variant is rumored to include Beidou satellite messaging support, a feature that could be especially appealing for users who want emergency communication options or spotty network coverage support depending on region.

Battery capacity is another area where the Magic V6 is rumored to make a meaningful jump. Current expectations point to a battery around 7,150 mAh, which would be a standout figure for a modern foldable. There’s also talk that more affordable configurations could come with a slightly smaller battery closer to 6,850 mAh. Either way, pairing a large battery with 120W wired charging could be a compelling combination—big capacity when you need endurance, and very fast top-ups when you’re in a rush.

On the performance side, all signs point to every Magic V6 model shipping with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. If accurate, that would place the device firmly in top-tier flagship territory for multitasking, gaming, AI features, and heavy productivity—exactly the kinds of use cases foldable buyers tend to care about.

With an official launch now just weeks away, the Honor Magic V6 is quickly emerging as a foldable to watch at MWC 2026. Between the expected 120W fast charging, potentially massive battery options, and a next-gen Snapdragon flagship chip, Honor appears ready to make a serious push for the foldable crown.
