Google has officially released the Stephen Curry special edition Pixel Watch 5, giving fans of the NBA star and Google’s smartwatch lineup a new limited-run model to consider. The device is now available for $579.99 and is being sold only while supplies last.
This special edition arrives a couple of weeks after the rest of the Pixel Watch 5 series became available to buyers. While the core hardware remains the same as the standard Pixel Watch 5, Google has given this version a distinct look built around Stephen Curry-inspired styling and exclusive band details.
The watch features a 45mm case finished in Satin Pyrite, giving it a premium gold-toned appearance that helps it stand out from the regular Pixel Watch 5 models. It is paired with a Rye-colored Performance Loop band, which is not included with the standard 41mm or 45mm versions.
The band is one of the biggest differences with this edition. It comes with a water-repellent coating designed to help wick away moisture during workouts, making it a practical choice for fitness-focused users. Google has also added Stephen Curry and #LockIn branding to the strap, giving the watch a more personalized, athlete-inspired feel.
Although the design is exclusive, the internal hardware is unchanged. Buyers get the same Pixel Watch 5 experience found in the regular model, including Wear OS, Google’s fitness and health features, and the Google Health app as the main wellness platform. That means the main appeal of this edition comes from its limited availability, special color combination, and Curry-themed branding.
At $579.99, the Stephen Curry Pixel Watch 5 costs $50 more than the regular 45mm Pixel Watch 5 LTE model. Since Google sells the Performance Loop band separately for $59, buyers who already planned to purchase that style of band may find the bundle to be a reasonable deal. However, those who are satisfied with the standard strap will mainly be paying extra for the exclusive finish and Stephen Curry design elements.
For comparison, the Pixel Watch 5 lineup starts at $399 for the 41mm model, while the 45mm version is priced at $429. LTE versions cost more, with the 41mm LTE model priced at $499 and the 45mm LTE model priced at $529.
Google’s latest smartwatch continues to focus on fitness tracking, everyday health insights, smart notifications, and tight integration with Android devices.
