Previously, Gemini could be accessed within the main Google app.
The dedicated Gemini app for iOS offers users various interactive options. Users can engage in voice conversations with Gemini Live, sync their Google apps such as Search, YouTube, Maps, and Gmail, explore topics, plan trips, and access AI-generated summaries and detailed analyses. Additionally, the app facilitates creating images and allows interaction via text, voice, or even camera use.
Google advises users to remain vigilant, as Gemini can occasionally make errors, and responses should be double-checked for accuracy. For those looking to enhance their experience, a paid subscription for Gemini Advanced is available through the Gemini app. The Google One AI Premium plan can be purchased in-app.
If someone attempts to access Gemini through the main Google app, they will encounter a prompt indicating “Gemini now has its own app,” with a link directing them to the App Store for download.
