Global Redmi Note 15 Pro Launches Worldwide in Two Versions, Each Packing a 6,500mAh+ Battery

Xiaomi has officially expanded the Redmi Note 15 series to global markets, bringing five fresh mid-range smartphones to international shoppers. The biggest attention-grabbers in the lineup are the Redmi Note 15 Pro models, which arrive in two versions and lean heavily into what most buyers want right now: big batteries, fast charging, and feature-packed specs at more accessible prices.

Global Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G: big battery, faster-feeling display, and a major camera change

The Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G for global markets comes with a hefty 6,580 mAh silicon-carbon (Si/C) battery paired with 45W fast charging. While that capacity is slightly lower than the China-only model’s 7,000 mAh battery, it’s still well above what you’ll find in many phones in this price range, making it a strong option for users who prioritize long battery life.

One of the most notable changes for the global version is the rear camera setup. The international Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G keeps the ultrawide camera but switches the main sensor to a high-resolution 200 MP camera. That’s a significant jump from the Chinese variant, which uses a 50 MP primary camera alongside an 8 MP ultrawide. For buyers comparing regional versions, the global model clearly puts more emphasis on megapixels and detailed shots.

On the performance and display side, the global Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G sticks to the same core experience as its Chinese counterpart. It runs on the Dimensity 7400 Ultra and features a large 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate, aimed at delivering fluid scrolling, responsive visuals, and an overall premium feel for a mid-range device.

Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G: a new addition with a huge battery and different chipset

Unlike the 5G Pro model, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G doesn’t have a Chinese equivalent—this one is a brand-new entry for the series. Xiaomi equips it with a 6,500 mAh battery and 45W fast charging, keeping the focus on all-day endurance.

Under the hood, the Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G uses the Helio G200 Ultra. It also brings a similar rear camera approach to the Pro lineup, but the selfie camera differs depending on the version: the 4G model includes a 32 MP front camera, while the 5G variant features a 20 MP selfie shooter.

The display is slightly smaller than the 5G model’s panel, landing at 6.77 inches. It’s still AMOLED, still FHD+, and still supports a 120 Hz refresh rate, which should keep animations and everyday interactions feeling smooth. However, there is one downgrade aimed at more demanding users: the touch sampling rate is 240 Hz on the 4G model, compared to 480 Hz on the 5G version, which can matter for competitive mobile gamers who want ultra-fast touch response.

Global pricing and configurations

Xiaomi is launching both phones with the same base memory configuration: 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.

Here’s how pricing starts in Europe:
Redmi Note 15 Pro 4G starts at €349
Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G starts at €399

With larger-than-average batteries, AMOLED displays at 120 Hz, and clear differences between the 4G and 5G Pro models in chipset, touch response, and camera hardware, the global Redmi Note 15 Pro lineup looks designed to offer buyers an easy choice: go for the 5G model if you want faster connectivity and higher touch sampling, or choose the 4G model if you want a slightly lower price while keeping the same big-battery mindset.
