OnePlus 15 global launch confirmed with no compromises on battery or charging
OnePlus is preparing to take its latest flagship beyond China, and the global version of the OnePlus 15 will keep the same standout battery and performance specs as the Chinese model released on October 28, 2025. That means a massive 7,300mAh battery is coming to international markets, a capacity rarely seen in Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 phones outside China. Until now, the Nubia Z80 Ultra was the only internationally available device with a battery larger than 7,000mAh on this chipset.
Manufacturers often trim battery capacity to meet regional regulations, but OnePlus appears to have solved that challenge without scaling back the hardware. Just as important, charging speeds won’t take a hit either. The global OnePlus 15 retains 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, matching the Chinese variant.
Beyond endurance and charging, the rest of the spec sheet remains equally uncompromised:
– 165Hz OLED display for ultra-smooth visuals
– 3,200Hz touch sampling for rapid responsiveness
– Large vapor chamber for sustained performance under load
– Multiple ingress protection ratings for improved durability
– OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16 for the global release
With big-battery stamina, top-tier charging speeds, and a high-refresh OLED display, the OnePlus 15 is shaping up to be a powerful all-day flagship for gaming, productivity, and travel. Availability and pricing for different regions are expected soon as OnePlus finalizes the international rollout.
