Gigabyte Unveils a Premium 4K QD-OLED Gaming Monitor with a Blazing 240Hz Refresh Rate

Gigabyte has expanded its premium gaming lineup with the launch of the MO32U24, a new 32-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor aimed at players who want 4K clarity without giving up ultra-smooth performance. Positioned as a strong alternative to other high-end esports and OLED gaming displays, the MO32U24 blends a sharp UHD resolution with a fast 240Hz refresh rate, targeting gamers who play everything from competitive shooters to cinematic single-player titles.

At the center of the monitor is a 32-inch QD-OLED panel running at 3840 x 2160 (4K UHD). The 240Hz refresh rate is built for fluid motion and reduced blur during fast gameplay, while the 0.03ms GTG response time helps keep motion crisp and responsive. For HDR fans, the panel reaches up to 1000 nits of peak HDR brightness, delivering punchy highlights in supported games and media. Gigabyte also highlights 99% DCI-P3 color coverage, which is great for rich, lifelike color reproduction whether you’re gaming, streaming, or doing creative work.

The MO32U24 also focuses heavily on contrast performance. It includes an advanced Obsidian Shield film that Gigabyte says boosts perceived black levels by up to 40% and helps the screen maintain deep blacks and vivid color even in brighter rooms. Combined with OLED’s naturally strong contrast, this is designed to improve visibility in dark scenes while keeping the overall image more impactful in mixed lighting.

For display certifications, the monitor has earned DisplayHDR True Black 500 and VESA ClearMR 13000, emphasizing both HDR black performance and motion clarity. Viewing angles are rated at 178°, which should help colors and contrast stay consistent even when you’re not sitting perfectly centered.

On the audio and cooling side, Gigabyte includes two built-in 5W stereo speakers for basic sound output, along with a fanless advanced thermal cooling system using a graphene thermal film. The goal here is to manage heat efficiently without adding fan noise to your setup.

Connectivity is another highlight. The MO32U24 comes with two HDMI 2.1 ports, DisplayPort 1.4, a USB Type-C port, two USB 3.2 ports, a USB 3.2 upstream port, and an earphone jack. This selection is well suited for modern gaming PCs, current-gen consoles, and multi-device desk setups where you want quick switching and flexible hookups.

Design-wise, the monitor sticks to a clean, gaming-focused look with an all-black finish. The stand supports tilt, swivel, pivot, and height adjustment up to 130mm, making it easier to dial in an ergonomic viewing position for long sessions.

Gigabyte hasn’t announced pricing yet, but based on the feature set—32-inch QD-OLED, 4K UHD, 240Hz, high HDR brightness, and extensive connectivity—the MO32U24 is clearly aimed at the premium gaming monitor market for players who want top-tier visuals and speed in one display.
