Gigabyte Reveals AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT GPUs in EU, Priced from $633; ASRock Gears Up with 8 GB and 16 GB Models

Several retailers have started listing the highly anticipated Gigabyte Radeon RX 9060 XT GPUs, although the prices currently seem to be placeholders. In Spain, the Gigabyte RX 9060 XT Gaming OC is listed at €593, while another European retailer has it at €686. It’s important to note that these prices, which include 20% VAT, are expected to change once the official launch price is announced. The GPU is not expected to exceed $500 at launch.

AMD is gearing up to expand its RDNA 4 lineup with the introduction of the RX 9060 XT on May 21st. This new release will come in two variants: 8 GB and 16 GB, with a focus on the latter. Major AMD board partners like ASRock, Gigabyte, and Acer are already working on their own custom designs for this GPU.

Currently, some Gigabyte models have surfaced on various EU retailer sites. The Spanish listing shows the Gigabyte RX 9060 XT Gaming OC 16 GB priced at €593 and €646, but there are no visible differences between these models based solely on the names. Given that images are not yet available, it’s unclear whether these are distinct models or simply variations of the same one.

When converted to USD, these prices translate to approximately $633 or $722 with VAT; without VAT, they drop to around $552 or $601. Another retailer set their prices at €686 and €747, making it evident that these are likely preliminary figures, as they are too high compared to the more powerful RX 9070, which launched at $549. Therefore, the RX 9060 XT is expected to cost $499 or less.

ASRock has also unveiled preparations for four distinct RX 9060 XT models: two featuring 8 GB and two with 16 GB VRAM. These are part of the RX 9060 XT Steel Legend and Challenger series, as noted by keen observers. Fans can anticipate seeing these GPUs alongside AMD’s official announcement.

Recently, AMD teased the Radeon RX 9060 XT’s reference design in a marketing infographic. Like its predecessor, the RX 9070 XT, this design won’t be available for direct purchase, adding an extra layer of exclusivity to the launch.
