Geekbench Leak Hints at a New OnePlus Phone Powered by Snapdragon 7s Gen 4

OnePlus recently expanded its Nord lineup in India with the OnePlus Nord 6, a feature-packed release that brings a fast 165Hz display, the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, and a massive 7,500mAh battery. Now, another Nord-branded phone appears to be on the way, and early benchmark data is already offering clues about where it will fit in the range.

A new OnePlus device carrying the model number CPH2805 has appeared in a Geekbench listing. According to a tip shared by reliable leaker Abhishek Yadav on X, this model number is tied to the upcoming OnePlus Nord CE 6. If accurate, the Nord CE 6 should land as a more affordable alternative to the standard Nord 6, targeting buyers who want a modern OnePlus experience without paying flagship-adjacent prices.

The benchmark entry suggests the OnePlus Nord CE 6 will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4, a mid-range processor designed to balance performance and efficiency for everyday use, gaming, and multitasking. The listing also indicates 8GB of RAM and Android 16, pointing to a current-generation software base out of the box.

In Geekbench CPU testing, the device recorded 1,101 points in the single-core test and 3,117 in the multi-core test. Those numbers provide a helpful early performance snapshot, especially for shoppers comparing models across the Nord family. For context, the previous Nord CE 5 equipped with the Dimensity 8350 Apex has shown stronger benchmark results in prior testing, scoring 1,325 (single-core) and 4,201 (multi-core). That doesn’t automatically mean the newer phone will feel slower in real-world use, but it does hint that the Nord CE 6 may prioritize efficiency and pricing over raw CPU power.

Launch timing may not be far off. Earlier leaks have suggested that the OnePlus Nord CE 6 and OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite could debut in May, which would align with OnePlus’s typical cadence for expanding mid-range lineups after a major Nord release.

There’s also an interesting detail about what the Nord CE 6 could be based on. A previous report claims it may share its foundation with the OnePlus Turbo 6V, a model released in China featuring a 6.78-inch 144Hz display, a huge 9,000mAh battery, and a 50MP rear camera. If OnePlus carries over even part of that hardware direction, the Nord CE 6 could become especially appealing to buyers who care most about smooth scrolling, long battery life, and a dependable main camera.

For now, the Geekbench appearance is one of the strongest signals that the OnePlus Nord CE 6 is real and moving closer to launch. As more certifications and teasers surface, we should get a clearer picture of the final specs, pricing, and which markets will receive it first.
