Garmin is making strides in perfecting its lineup of Forerunner smartwatches with the release of a new stable software update. This update is gradually being introduced on a global scale and targets a specific area that previously led to some hiccups on older software versions.
Recently, Garmin rolled out a beta update for older models like the Forerunner 245, 745, and 945, and now the focus has shifted to the newer Forerunner series, including the 165, 255, 265, 955, and 965. Although the latest Software Version 20.32 does not bring an array of new features, unlike its counterpart update for the Enduro 3 and Fenix series devices that boast over fifty enhancements, it addresses a crucial graphics issue specifically related to the Varia Radar.
Currently, about 20% of eligible Forerunner devices have received the update, but for those who haven’t yet, there’s a manual option to download it. To ensure your smartwatch is up-to-date, navigate to the Menu, select System, then Software Update, and choose ‘Check for Updates.’
