The upcoming Garmin Fenix 8 series is generating buzz with potential new features and design variations. According to information from leaked sources, it’s expected that the series will be available in multiple styles and sizes, debuting new connectivity options not seen in Garmin’s flagship smartwatches until now.
FitnessTrackerTest (FTT) has revealed several details about the much-anticipated Fenix 8 series. While the exact release date remains under wraps, some official battery life estimates have been shared, including specifications for rumoured AMOLED and MIP display variants.
Among the new features, Garmin’s Garmin Share functionality is particularly noteworthy. Garmin Share allows users to directly exchange data with other compatible Edge cycling computers when they are within 10 feet (3 meters). This includes sharing saved locations, courses, and workouts without needing to access a Garmin Connect account.
Additionally, it appears that all Fenix 8 models will feature integrated microphone and speaker hardware.
