Garmin Enduro 4 and Tactix 9 Appear in Regulatory Filing, Hinting at Upcoming Launches
Garmin may be preparing to expand its premium smartwatch lineup once again. Shortly after the launch of the Fenix 9 and Fenix 9 Pro, new regulatory evidence has surfaced suggesting that the Garmin Enduro 4, Tactix 9, and Tactix 9 Ballistics Edition are already in development.
Before the Fenix 9 series arrived, there were rumors that Garmin could introduce the Enduro 4 at the same time. That did not happen, and Garmin made no official mention of new Enduro or Tactix models during the Fenix 9 launch. However, fresh certification details now indicate that these devices are likely real and could be moving closer to release.
The latest clue comes from Russia’s Federal Accreditation Service, which has listed the Garmin Enduro 4 in an EAEU Declaration of Conformity. While the document does not reveal specifications, design changes, battery life improvements, or new training features, it does confirm the name of the device.
That is notable because the Enduro series is Garmin’s endurance-focused smartwatch range, known for long battery life, rugged construction, and outdoor-ready fitness tools. If the Enduro 4 follows the same direction, it could appeal strongly to ultra-runners, hikers, cyclists, and adventure athletes who want a high-end GPS smartwatch built for extended use.
The same regulatory filing also mentions the Garmin Tactix 9 and Tactix 9 Ballistics Edition. Garmin’s Tactix watches typically target tactical, military-inspired, and outdoor users, often offering advanced navigation, durability, stealth-oriented features, and specialized tools. The Ballistics Edition is expected to continue focusing on long-range shooting and applied ballistics features, though no technical details have been confirmed yet.
It is important to note that the appearance of all three models in the same certification document does not guarantee they will launch together. Garmin has previously spaced out releases within related product families. For example, earlier Enduro and Tactix models did not arrive at the same time, with several months separating their launches.
For now, Garmin has not officially announced the Enduro 4, Tactix 9, or Tactix 9 Ballistics Edition. Still, regulatory listings often appear before consumer electronics reach the market, making this a strong sign that Garmin’s next wave of rugged premium smartwatches is on the way.
