Fitbit’s kid-focused Ace LTE just got a fun upgrade: four new interchangeable bands that don’t just change the look of the watch, they unlock in-watch rewards, too. With the latest additions, families now have ten band designs to mix and match, including a Minecraft-themed option that’s bound to be a hit.
Each new Ace Band is priced at $34.99 and comes in these styles:
– Minecraft: Do U Mine? Active Band
– Mechanoid Active Band
– Space Bacon Comfort Band
– Bubble Cats Comfort Band
Just like previous Ace LTE bands, swapping to one of these designs unlocks exclusive gear for your child’s Eejie, the on-watch avatar, along with new “noodles” that act as playful activity progress bars. It’s a clever way to keep kids motivated to move throughout the day.
The Minecraft and Mechanoid active bands use a soft-touch polyurethane with a plastic clasp for durability and easy cleanup. Space Bacon and Bubble Cats are comfort bands made from stretch recycled yarn and secure with a kid-friendly hook-and-loop closure. All four are one-size-fits-most, designed for wrists from 120 mm to 200 mm, and carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance, making them ready for everyday adventures.
The new bands are available from major retailers, including Amazon and the Google Store. If you’re still shopping for the watch itself, the Fitbit Ace LTE is currently listed at $139.95 on Amazon, down from $179.95, with a separate discount live on the Google Store through September 28.
