A well-known Weibo tipster has backed the 2.1 configuration, and promotional images show a circular speaker near the camera array carrying a Bose logo. Instead of the thin, flat output typical of standard stereo phones, expect fuller, deeper sound with real bass presence. For gamers, movie lovers, and music fans, that means more immersive audio without headphones.
The design clue many spotted earlier—a circular grille near the camera—had people guessing whether Redmi simply relocated a speaker. It now appears this is an extra, purpose-built low-frequency driver, confirming a true 2.1 arrangement. That gives the Redmi K90 Pro Max a standout hardware feature in a crowded performance-phone market.
