Publisher Aiming and developer Team Caravan have announced the forthcoming closure of the PlayStation 4 version of Caravan Stories. Mark your calendars: the shutdown is set for March 13, 2025. This news follows the earlier discontinuation of the Switch version, which was terminated in June 2024.
This upcoming shutdown, however, won’t impact the existing versions of Caravan Stories available on iOS, Android, and PC. It’s worth noting that these platforms are only accessible in Japan and Asia.
In an official statement, Team Caravan expressed their gratitude to the players and shared some insights:
“Thank you for playing Caravan Stories on PlayStation 4. We regret to inform you that the service for Caravan Stories on PlayStation 4 will end at 11:00 AM JST on March 13, 2025. We have always strived to provide the best service possible to our players. Unfortunately, we’ve determined that continuing to offer satisfactory service is no longer viable, necessitating this difficult decision.
We sincerely appreciate your continued support and understanding as we bring the PlayStation 4 service to a close.”
