NIS America and Natsume Atari have thrilled fans by releasing a demo for their latest RPG, REYNATIS, a captivating adventure steeped in dark magic. The demo is now accessible on multiple platforms including PC via Steam, Nintendo Switch through the eShop, and PlayStation 4 and 5 via the PlayStation Store.
In REYNATIS, players will dive into the dual narratives of Marin Kirizumi and Sari Nishijima, experiencing their intriguing journeys through the opening chapters.
Marin Kirizumi is a 19-year-old college student with a haunting past. His magical powers awakened after a near-fatal car accident at age 14, thrusting him into a life marred by oppression. Determined to break free and achieve unmatched wizardry, he embarks on a quest to Shibuya, driven by the cryptic messages left by his father.
Sari Nishijima’s tale is equally gripping. Once a police officer, her life took a dramatic turn when a monster attack in Shibuya left her fatally injured. On the brink of death, she transformed into a replica and joined the M.E.A. Now working in the M.E.A.’s Magic Task Force, Sari grapples with the expectations surrounding her newfound role, resisting being merely a figurehead for recruitment.
REYNATIS transports players to the meticulously-rendered streets of Shibuya, Tokyo, blending fantasy with reality. In a society where magic is both feared and persecuted, wizards must hide their powers to avoid oppression. Players can choose to navigate the city undercover, engage in quests, shop like an ordinary citizen, or unleash their magical prowess to explore hidden areas and combat adversaries.
