Call of Duty and Monster Energy have teamed up once again, introducing Call of Duty: Black Ops 7-themed cans that are already making waves on store shelves. These special edition cans provide players an exciting opportunity to snag in-game rewards ahead of the game’s anticipated release on November 14, 2025.
Sneak peeks of these promotional cans surfaced on social media on July 27, 2025, featuring the striking Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 logo. This collaboration is reminiscent of a previous campaign where Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 cans offered redeemable codes under their pull tabs. By accessing their Activision account, players could redeem codes online for various gaming perks.
Individual cans previously rewarded fans with 15-minute double XP tokens, capped at 40 hours of gameplay through 160 cans or just over $300. The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 promotion also included exclusive in-game items like a weapon blueprint, three operator skins, and a weapon vinyl. Additional bonuses were available for Walmart purchases, offering enhanced weapon and level progression XP tokens.
As the curtain closes on the Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Monster Energy promotion, attention shifts to the upcoming installment. Officially teased on June 19, 2025, this date holds significance in Black Ops 2’s narrative, marking a fictional attack on Los Angeles.
Players can prepare for a game-changing reveal at Gamescom 2025 on August 19. Set in 2035, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 serves as a direct sequel to both Black Ops 2 and Black Ops 6. The storyline welcomes the return of David Mason, son of the iconic Alex Mason, and promises a captivating co-op campaign alongside fresh multiplayer maps.
The Dark Aether Zombies storyline also continues, picking up from “The Reckoning” at Janus Towers. This expansion is eagerly anticipated to launch on August 7 alongside Black Ops 6 Season 5.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 left an impressive mark, reigning as the top-selling premium game throughout December and the entirety of 2024. With over 500 million lifetime sales spanning digital and physical formats, the franchise shows no signs of slowing down. On October 28, 2024, Black Ops 6 boasted an impressive peak of 315,334 concurrent players, maintaining strong engagement with a 24-hour peak of 79,458 players as of now.
