The new ThinkPad E16 G3 has made quite an impression, thanks to significant improvements in crucial areas like its chassis, ports, and display. Our review focused on a model featuring the Intel Core Ultra 5 225U (Arrow Lake), which delivers adequate performance for standard office tasks. However, its iGPU performance left something to be desired.
Recently, we had the opportunity to test an upgraded version equipped with the more robust Core Ultra 7 255H. This model includes the integrated Intel Arc Graphics 140T, naturally boosting performance. While the enhanced Core Ultra 255H is designed to deliver greater power, it’s important to note that the cooling system remains the same, featuring a single fan and small heatpipe. This raises questions about how much of the improved performance can actually be utilized effectively.
