Elegoo Unveils Jupiter 2: Next-Gen 3D Printer with Innovative Smartphone Control App

Elegoo has unveiled an exciting innovation with the launch of its Matrix app, designed to transform a user’s smartphone into a sophisticated remote control for their advanced 3D printers. This new development marks a significant leap forward, as their upcoming flagship 3D printer, the Jupiter 2, will be the first to support smartphone control directly out of the box.

With the Matrix app, users can effortlessly manage print parameters like layer height and exposure times right from their mobile devices. The app offers real-time monitoring capabilities, allowing users to track print progress and make adjustments as necessary. It even provides features for managing the printer’s temperature and speed to ensure optimal performance.

For printers equipped with internal cameras, the Matrix app acts as a viewing portal, providing valuable insights into the printing process. It also maintains detailed logs and data over time, which can be instrumental in refining future prints and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Currently available for both iOS and Android, the Matrix app is compatible with the Saturn 4 Ultra 16K model and will extend to the Mars 5 Ultra and Saturn 4 Ultra 12K later in 2025. The eagerly awaited Jupiter 2 will also support this functionality upon its launch, promising a seamless experience for 3D printing enthusiasts.
