D3 Publisher and developer Sandlot have released the first downloadable content (DLC) for Earth Defense Force 6, titled “Mission Pack 1: Lost Days,” for all platforms in the west. This new DLC is now available for PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as for both PS4 and PS5 through the PlayStation Store, priced at $14.99.
The new content explores the fate of a soldier who traveled through time trying to save mankind, ultimately becoming the player’s alter ego. Serving as a prequel to Earth Defense Force 5, the DLC is tailored for selected elite EDF members and includes over 15 challenging new missions. Players will encounter an unprecedented and formidable enemy, bringing a seemingly hopeless battle that cannot be avoided. For those who aim to conquer these difficult missions, more than 70 new weapons are available. The DLC also includes five difficulty levels and supports online cooperative play.
Earth Defense Force 6 was initially released on July 25th, 2024, for Windows PC and both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
