D3 Publisher and developer Sandlot have confirmed that Earth Defense Force 5 and Earth Defense Force 6 are heading to Nintendo Switch 2, giving fans of the chaotic sci-fi shooter series a new way to battle giant alien threats on Nintendo’s next-generation hybrid console.
Earth Defense Force 5 will launch worldwide for Nintendo Switch 2 on October 8. Meanwhile, Earth Defense Force 6 is also planned for the system and is currently scheduled to arrive sometime this winter.
Earth Defense Force 5 is already available on PC via Steam and PlayStation 4, while Earth Defense Force 6 has previously been released for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
