ECOVACS GOAT GX-600 Robotic Lawn Mower Set for EU Launch

The innovative ECOVACS GOAT GX-600 robotic lawn mower is set for its European debut in March, as announced by the manufacturer. Initially showcased at CES 2024, this advanced home maintenance device is generating buzz for its sophisticated features and user-friendly design.

Highlighted for its intelligent boundary recognition technology, the GX-600 forgoes the traditional physical boundary wire and instead utilizes a virtual mapping system to navigate lawns. This smart boundary tool enables rapid setup and aims to have the robot understand the layout of a garden within 48 hours with just the push of a button.

Responsible for its navigational prowess, the GX-600 comes equipped with a 150-degree fisheye camera and Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors to traverse and manage garden terrain effectively, avoiding potential obstacles in its path.

The robust mower is designed to tackle slopes of up to 22 degrees (40%) and is programmed to autonomously return to its docking station to recharge when necessary. After refueling, it will continue its mowing tasks from where it left off, ensuring optimal lawn maintenance.

Customization is key with the ECOVACS GOAT GX-600. Users can adjust cutting heights and outline specific mowing schedules within the ECOVACS app, providing a tailored gardening experience.

Anticipation grows as consumers look forward to the pre-order opening on March 20th, with a price point of €1,299. The market release date for regions outside of the EU, including the US, along with their pricing and availability, remains undisclosed.

Further expanding their robot mower range, ECOVACS is also launching two additional models, the GOAT G1-800 and GOAT G1-2000, which are also expected to arrive in March.

For homeowners seeking a high-tech solution to lawn maintenance, the ECOVACS GOAT GX-600 robot lawn mower might just be the garden upgrade needed for a more efficient and tech-savvy approach to gardening. With its market release on the horizon, it stands as a promising contender in the robotic lawn mower segment.
