Dual-OS Power Tablet Debuts With 12.6-Inch 2.5K AMOLED, 16GB RAM, and 1TB Storage

Erazer U126 Launches as a Dual-OS 2-in-1 Tablet With Windows 11, Android 16, and a 12.6-Inch AMOLED Display

Erazer has introduced the U126 in China, a new detachable 2-in-1 tablet designed for users who want the flexibility of both a Windows laptop and an Android tablet in one device. The standout feature is its dual-operating-system support, allowing the U126 to run Windows 11 as well as Android 16.

The Erazer U126 is built around a 12.6-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a 2.5K resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. The panel supports a 60Hz refresh rate and offers a claimed peak brightness of 450 nits, making it suitable for productivity, media viewing, web browsing, and everyday tablet use. With its detachable magnetic backlit keyboard, the device can quickly shift from tablet mode to a more traditional laptop-style setup.

Powering the Erazer U126 is Intel’s Core Ultra 5 115U processor. This chip features eight cores and 10 threads, along with integrated Intel graphics. It also includes Intel AI Boost, an NPU designed to accelerate AI-related tasks and improve efficiency in supported workloads.

Erazer is offering the U126 with multiple memory and storage options. Buyers can choose from 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM, while storage options include a 512GB or 1TB SSD. These specifications position the device as a versatile productivity machine for students, office users, and anyone who needs a portable system for multitasking.

The biggest selling point remains its ability to run both Windows 11 and Android 16. This could make the U126 especially appealing to users who rely on desktop software but also want access to Android apps and a touch-first mobile experience. Erazer says the device supports seamless switching between the two operating systems, though the company has not shared detailed information about how the feature works.

The tablet is equipped with a 3,500mAh battery rated at 40.425Wh and supports 65W PD fast charging. For audio and video calls, it includes two 1W speakers, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a rear camera. The USB Type-C port supports external displays and accessories, adding extra flexibility for users who want to connect monitors, storage devices, or other peripherals.

In terms of design, the Erazer U126 uses a full-metal body. It measures 286.13 x 184.29 x 8.5mm and weighs 760g without the keyboard, making it relatively slim and portable for a 12.6-inch detachable tablet. Wireless connectivity includes dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.

The Erazer U126 is currently listed in China in two confirmed configurations. The 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD model is priced at 5,499 yuan, which is approximately $822. The 12GB RAM and 512GB SSD version costs 5,999 yuan, or around $897. A higher-end model with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD also appears in the listing, but its official price has not yet been confirmed.

For now, Erazer has not announced whether the U126 will be released outside China. If it does reach more markets, its combination of a 2.5K AMOLED display, Intel Core Ultra processor, detachable keyboard, and dual Windows 11 and Android 16 support could help it stand out in the growing 2-in-1 tablet category.
