Acebeam has launched the EC90, a powerhouse flashlight designed for long-range illumination. This new addition to their lineup boasts an impressive throw distance of up to 626 yards, outshining its cousin, the E75, with a more concentrated beam.
Operating in turbo mode, the EC90 bursts forth with 4,300 lumens for 40 seconds before scaling down to 750 lumens, extending its battery life to two hours. It can continue to operate at 450 lumens for an additional hour. For those moments when a gentle glow is needed, its ultra-low mode of 5 lumens can last an incredible 260 hours.
Effortlessly charged via USB-C, the EC90 features a protected port and utilizes a robust 21700 battery with an 18.5Wh capacity, which is easily replaceable. The flashlight’s single LED is cooler at 6,500 Kelvin, delivering remarkable performance with a striking 82,000 candela, significantly surpassing the E75’s 17,000 candela.
Weighing in at 8.36 ounces, the EC90 is on the heavier side for an everyday carry but compensates with durability. It’s drop-resistant up to 5 feet and water- and dust-proof, meeting the IP68 standard. For convenience, a two-way clip allows it to attach securely to a cap.
Available now for $109, the EC90 is ready to be your reliable companion for outdoor adventures or any situation demanding robust lighting.
