LEGO Ideas may have accidentally revealed its first 2026 review results ahead of the official announcement, giving fans an early look at several potential future LEGO sets inspired by cinema, culture, gaming, and architecture.
According to the leaked details, the LEGO Ideas review featured an impressive 97 fan-created projects that each reached the required 10,000 supporter milestone. The lineup reportedly included a wide variety of concepts, from a Stegosaurus skeleton and floral builds to board games and creations inspired by beloved animated films.
While many projects were considered, three LEGO Ideas submissions appear to have been selected for future release, with two additional projects still waiting for a final decision.
One of the most exciting rumored picks is an Interstellar-inspired LEGO set created by Minibrick41587. The model reportedly includes 561 pieces and recreates the spacecraft from the popular science-fiction film. It is also said to include two minifigures and the robot CASE, making it a compact but highly recognizable build for movie fans and collectors.
Another selected project is Tulip Field Windmill by HisBrickMaterials. This colorful display model features a scenic windmill surrounded by a bright tulip field, offering a charming countryside design that could appeal to fans of decorative LEGO sets, travel-inspired builds, and floral displays.
The third project believed to have been approved comes from GenericBrix. This larger 1,273-piece set reportedly depicts a Chinese temple, complete with a bridge and a tree. With its architectural style and cultural inspiration, the build could become a standout display piece if it moves forward in the LEGO Ideas lineup.
Two other fan projects are reportedly still under review. The first is a 304-piece Peashooter model from Plants vs. Zombies, created by DistinguishedCrow. If approved, it would bring one of the game’s most recognizable characters into brick form.
The second project still awaiting a final decision is The 5th Element – Korben Dallas Taxi by MarinBrickDesign. This model recreates the famous flying taxi from the Luc Besson sci-fi film and could be a strong pick for fans of classic futuristic cinema.
As always with early LEGO Ideas leaks, fans should treat the information with caution until LEGO makes an official announcement. Even if these projects are confirmed, the final retail versions may look different from the original fan submissions. LEGO often adjusts designs, piece counts, minifigures, colors, and building techniques before a set reaches store shelves.
The official reveal is expected on November 9, 2026, when LEGO fans should learn which projects are truly moving forward. If the leaked list is accurate, the next wave of LEGO Ideas sets could offer a strong mix of movie nostalgia, vibrant scenery, cultural architecture, and video game-inspired creativity.
