Dell Introduces the UltraSharp U4025QW Monitor with Competitive Launch Pricing

Dell has announced the availability of its new UltraSharp 40 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor, the U4025QW. This release comes shortly after the product’s unveiling at CES 2024, which also featured the release of the UltraSharp 34 Curved Thunderbolt Hub Monitor (U3425WE). Both monitors have been introduced at lower prices than initially expected.

The U4025QW features a 40-inch IPS Black panel with a resolution of 5,120 x 2,160 pixels, which Dell markets as 5K. This is an upgrade from previous models available in the market, such as its predecessor priced at $1,619 on retail sites like Amazon. Contrary to what was initially anticipated, the U4025QW comes equipped with DisplayPort 1.4 instead of the newer DisplayPort 2.1. The monitor also supports device charging with a powerful 140 W output via Thunderbolt 4.

Originally, the U4025QW was intended to be priced at $2,399.99. However, Dell has opted for a significantly lower launch price of $1,919.99, which equates to a sizable 20% discount. In terms of international pricing, the monitor is available for €1,807.61 in the Eurozone and £1,605.60 in the UK. It should be noted that these prices do include VAT, in contrast to the US pricing.
