Cybertruck’s Mobile Laundry Service: Washing Machines on Wheels

Recently, Tesla’s Cybertruck made an impression when it was filmed in city traffic with a fully operational washing machine in its truck bed. The washing machine was securely strapped in and functioning, a remarkable demonstration by a handyman business based in Dallas, TX. However, the owner of the business clarified that their services do not include doing laundry or moving, despite what the video might suggest. They specialize in repairs, maintenance, and installations.

The Cybertruck is equipped with two 120V outlets and one 240V outlet with a 40A maximum draw located in the truck’s bed, offering practical utility for various tasks. This isn’t the first time these outlets have been shown off; a farmer recently used them to power a 50A welding machine and cutter to repair a rusting pipe. The farmer now also uses the Cybertruck to transport grain during harvest season.

While it’s unclear how many laundry loads the Cybertruck completed, its substantial 123 kWh battery pack should easily handle multiple cycles of a washing machine. However, this would necessitate more frequent charging if the washing is done while the vehicle is in motion.
