Tesla Rolls Out New Summer Accessories for Model Y and Cybertruck, Including a Dual-Zone Fridge and Air Mattress
Tesla is leaning into summer road trips, camping weekends, and outdoor adventures with a fresh lineup of accessories designed for the Model Y and Cybertruck. Just in time for the 4th of July weekend, the company has introduced several new items aimed at making its vehicles more useful away from home, including a dual-zone fridge for the Model Y, a truck-bed air mattress for the Cybertruck, a canopy, a foldable chair, and seasonal apparel.
The biggest highlight is the new Tesla Model Y Dual Zone Fridge. Priced at $595, this compact refrigerator is designed to fit directly into the Model Y’s sub-trunk, allowing owners to keep food and drinks cool without sacrificing the vehicle’s main cargo area. Since it is built specifically for the Model Y, owners do not need to worry about measurements, modifications, or awkward fitment.
The fridge plugs into the built-in 12V outlet in the sub-trunk, so no extra adapters are required. It features two independently controlled compartments, giving drivers the flexibility to set different temperatures for each side. The temperature range runs from 0°F to 68°F, or -18°C to 20°C. That means one section can be used as a freezer while the other keeps drinks chilled or food at a warmer temperature.
While similar aftermarket Model Y fridges have been available for some time, Tesla’s version focuses on factory-style integration. The appeal is not necessarily that it offers the widest feature list, but that it is built to fit cleanly, carries Tesla branding, and works with all Model Y versions. Cybertruck owners are getting a new outdoor-focused accessory as well. Tesla has introduced a $295 Cybertruck Air Mattress designed specifically for the truck’s large bed. The air mattress includes a six-inch high-density foam pad for added comfort, along with a waterproof shell to help protect it from unexpected rain or damp conditions.
Inflation and deflation are handled by an integrated pump that connects to the 120V outlet located in the Cybertruck bed. This makes setup easier at campsites, trailheads, or remote locations where carrying extra equipment would be inconvenient.
The Cybertruck Air Mattress is also compatible with Tesla’s official CyberTent, allowing owners to turn the truck bed into a more complete camping setup. Instead of simply using the bed as a flat sleeping surface, the mattress and tent combination creates a more comfortable and weather-ready space for overnight stays.
Tesla’s latest summer accessory collection also includes a $165 canopy made for the 2026 Model Y. The canopy is aimed at drivers who want shade during road trips, tailgating, camping, or outdoor events. A $125 foldable “On the Road” chair joins the lineup as a general-use accessory for Tesla owners, while summer-themed Tesla T-shirts are available for $35.
The new accessories show Tesla continuing to position its vehicles as more than just daily transportation. With the Model Y already popular among families and road-trip drivers, and the Cybertruck marketed toward adventure and utility buyers, these additions fit naturally into the way many owners use their vehicles.
