CPU-Z Expands to Include RDNA 4, RTX 50 Series GPUs, and New AMD CPU Lines

The latest version of CPU-Z, a well-known hardware monitoring tool, now supports a wide array of updated components from AMD and NVIDIA. This enhancement ensures that users receive precise information on the newest GPUs and CPUs available.

With the release of CPU-Z 2.16, the software’s database has expanded to include key components from the AMD Zen 5 family, as well as the newest RTX 50 series and RDNA 4 GPUs. This update is essential for tech enthusiasts keen on monitoring the latest hardware developments.

On the GPU front, CPU-Z 2.16 adds compatibility with the NAVI 44-based Radeon RX 9060 XT, which launched recently. This GPU, part of the RDNA 4 family, offers both 8 GB and 16 GB configurations. Additionally, the update covers NVIDIA’s RTX 5060 series, including the RTX 5060 Ti and RTX 5060 models. Support for the freshly released RTX 5050 is also included.

Regarding CPUs, the Ryzen Z2 series, specifically designed for gaming handhelds, is now supported. These processors, known as Strix Point APUs, feature up to 8 Zen 5 cores and 16 threads. The Ryzen 8000HX series, built on Zen 4 architecture for high-performance mobile platforms, also receives support.

Moreover, AMD’s budget-friendly Kraken Point chips, the Ryzen AI 7 350 and Ryzen AI 5 340, are now part of the CPU-Z database. These processors provide Zen 5 cores with 8 and 6 core configurations, respectively. Notably, the KaiXian CPUs from Chinese manufacturer Zhaoxin, including the KX-U6780A and KX-U6580, are now supported.
