CHUWI UniBox AI495 Pro Mini PC Debuts With Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 and Up to 192GB Memory
CHUWI has introduced the UniBox AI495 Pro, its most powerful mini PC to date, aimed at users who want serious local AI performance in a compact desktop system. The new machine is built around AMD’s high-end Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor and is designed to run large language models locally, including models up to 300B parameters, depending on configuration and workload.
The launch places CHUWI in the growing race for AI-focused mini PCs, a category that is quickly becoming more competitive as compact systems gain desktop-class processing power. Instead of relying on cloud-based AI tools, devices like the UniBox AI495 Pro are built to handle demanding AI tasks directly on the machine, offering improved privacy, lower latency, and more control for developers, creators, and advanced users.
At the center of the CHUWI UniBox AI495 Pro is the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495, a 16-core, 32-thread processor based on AMD’s latest Zen 5 architecture. This chip is currently one of the strongest options in AMD’s Ryzen AI lineup and delivers up to 131 AI TOPS of performance. Compared with CHUWI’s earlier UniBox AI395, which used the Ryzen AI Max+ 395, the new UniBox AI495 Pro brings a modest but meaningful boost in processing and AI capability. Graphics are handled by the integrated Radeon 8065S GPU, which features 40 Compute Units based on AMD’s RDNA 3.5 architecture. While it is similar to the Radeon 8060S used in related hardware, the Radeon 8065S offers a slightly higher boost clock, giving the UniBox AI495 Pro an extra edge in GPU-accelerated workloads.
