Casio Brings Two Compact Monochrome G-Shock Watches to the US
Casio has officially launched two compact monochrome G-Shock watches in the United States, giving fans of the octagonal G-Shock design two new minimalist options. The Casio G-Shock GMA-P2110B-1A and GMA-P2110B-5A are now available through Casio’s US store, priced at $145 each.
Both models are listed as September 2026 releases and are currently in stock. Their arrival follows an earlier international rollout, with the watches first appearing outside the US before finally making their way to American buyers.
The GMA-P2110B-1A comes in a sleek all-black finish, while the GMA-P2110B-5A features a muted brown colorway. Both watches keep the design clean and understated, using a single-tone look across the case, strap, dial, and details. The standout design element is the metallic-looking bezel ring, which adds a subtle shine around the octagonal bezel and gives the watch a slightly more refined appearance.
Despite that metallic accent, Casio lists the case and bezel materials as resin and bio-based resin. That means the ring should be viewed as a metallic-style finish rather than a separate metal part. Even so, it adds a premium touch without taking away from the rugged G-Shock character.
These models are designed for buyers who want a smaller G-Shock without losing the toughness and practical features the lineup is known for. Each watch measures 46 × 40.5 × 11.3 mm and weighs just 37 grams, making them light and comfortable for daily wear. The compact size should appeal to those who find full-size G-Shock watches too bulky but still want the signature angular design.
Both watches run on Casio’s module 5730. Features include world time across 31 time zones and 48 cities, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, five daily alarms, and a full auto-calendar programmed through the year 2099. They also include a double LED light for the analog face and digital display, making them easier to read in low-light conditions.
As expected from a G-Shock, durability remains a major selling point. The GMA-P2110B-1A and GMA-P2110B-5A offer 200 meters of water resistance, mineral glass, and a CR1025 battery rated for approximately three years of use.
At $145, these two models sit toward the higher end of Casio’s compact analog-digital G-Shock lineup in the US. For comparison, some GMA-P2100SR models are priced at $135, while the GMA-P2100M series is available for around $110. The added cost appears to reflect the updated monochrome styling and metallic bezel-ring finish.
For G-Shock fans looking for a compact, lightweight, and stylish everyday watch, the GMA-P2110B-1A and GMA-P2110B-5A offer a strong mix of durability, practical features, and modern minimalist design. The black version delivers a stealthy look, while the brown model provides a softer, more casual alternative.
