Casio Unveils Special-Edition Edifice Sospensione Honda Collaboration Watch for Europe

Casio is preparing to release a new special-edition timepiece that blends motorsport heritage with modern everyday practicality. The Casio Edifice-Honda collaboration watch, the Sospensione ECB-2300HR-1A, has now appeared on Casio’s official online stores across multiple European countries, signaling a confirmed Europe launch alongside its previously announced Japan debut.

First revealed in October 2025 and scheduled to arrive in Japan in March 2026, the ECB-2300HR-1A is now also listed for European buyers in markets including the Netherlands, France, and Germany. Casio’s product pages show a recommended retail price of €399.00 and point to a March 2026 release window. While an exact launch day hasn’t been shared yet, the listings are marked “coming soon,” with an option for customers to register for an email alert when the watch goes on sale.

This Edifice Sospensione model is designed to commemorate a major milestone in Honda’s racing history: 30 years since the brand’s first Formula 1 victory. That landmark win took place at the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix with the Honda RA272. Casio reflects that legacy through a bold white, black, and red color scheme inspired by the car’s signature “Championship White,” used on the bezel and matched on the leather strap. Collectible details add to the story, including a gold-colored 60-minute marker and an engraved “Veni, Vidi, Vici” on the band loop, giving the watch a celebratory, trophy-like flair.

Beyond the commemorative styling, the ECB-2300HR-1A is built as a feature-packed hybrid watch that’s meant to be worn daily. It combines two analog hands with digital readouts, offering accuracy rated at within 15 seconds per month. Two small displays positioned in the lower right of the dial provide quick access to practical information such as the date and day of the week.

Functionality is a major part of the appeal. This model includes world time, a 1/100th-second stopwatch, five daily alarms, a countdown timer, and hourly time signals. It also uses Casio’s Tough Solar charging, reducing the need for frequent battery changes. Bluetooth connectivity adds another layer of convenience through Smartphone Link features, including automatic time adjustment for easier, more reliable timekeeping when paired with a compatible phone.

For durability, the watch includes a sapphire crystal and is rated for 100 meters of water resistance, making it suitable for everything from daily wear to travel and light water activities.

As for availability beyond Japan and Europe, Casio hasn’t confirmed whether the Edifice-Honda Sospensione ECB-2300HR-1A will launch in other regions such as the United States. For now, European listings point to March 2026 as the key timeframe, with more precise release details likely to follow as the launch approaches.
