Casio Unveils Digital Watch That Keeps You Notified with Silent Vibration Alerts

Casio G-Shock GD-350S-1 Digital Watch Spotted Ahead of Expected August 2026 Release

Casio appears to be preparing a fresh addition to its long-running G-Shock GD-350 lineup. A new digital model, the Casio G-Shock GD-350S-1, has surfaced through a retailer listing in Vietnam, suggesting that an official launch could be just around the corner.

The GD-350 series first arrived in 2013 and has remained popular among G-Shock fans who prefer rugged digital watches with practical everyday features. The upcoming GD-350S-1 continues that formula with a tough resin build, bold styling, vibration alerts, and strong water resistance.

The Casio G-Shock GD-350S-1 features a round black resin case paired with a distinctive squared-off white frame around the digital display. The screen uses a light background for clear readability, while red accents add a sportier touch across the design, including on the signature “G” button. For low-light conditions, the watch includes a white backlight to illuminate the display.

Also listed under model references GD-350S-1D and GD-350S-1DR, the watch is powered by Casio’s 3403 module. This brings a useful mix of functions aimed at daily wear, travel, training, and outdoor use.

Key features include a 1/100-second stopwatch, countdown timer, flash alerts, vibration alerts, and multiple daily alarms. The vibration alert function is one of the standout features of the GD-350 range, making it useful for situations where audible alarms may be inconvenient or difficult to hear.

The watch also supports 35 time zones, making it a practical option for travelers. A daylight saving time mode is included as well, helping users adjust more easily when moving between regions or dealing with seasonal time changes.

Durability remains a core part of the package. The Casio G-Shock GD-350S-1 is rated for 20 bar water resistance, meaning it is suitable for swimming and general water exposure. Battery life is expected to be around five years using a CR2032 battery, giving owners long-term reliability without frequent replacements.

According to the retailer listing, the Casio G-Shock GD-350S-1 is expected to arrive in August 2026. It may launch in Japan around the same period, although Casio has not yet confirmed wider availability for markets such as North America or Europe.

Pricing details have not been revealed yet. However, given the GD-350 series’ history as a functional and accessible G-Shock line, the GD-350S-1 could attract buyers looking for a tough digital watch with vibration alerts, strong battery life, and classic G-Shock durability.
