Casio Shrinks G-Shock into a Ring-Sized, Fully Functional Finger Watch

Casio has distilled its legendary toughness into a tiny, ring-style wearable with the G-Shock Nano DWN-5600—its smallest shock-resistant G-Shock to date. Built using high-density component mounting and a compact battery, this micro-sized model keeps the core G-Shock promise intact: it’s shock-resistant and water-resistant to 200 meters.

Despite its size, the Nano doesn’t compromise on practicality. The user-replaceable battery is rated for up to two years, a standout figure for a device this compact. The bezel and band are crafted from recycled resin, underscoring Casio’s sustainability push, and the ring’s fit can be adjusted from 48mm to 82mm using familiar band holes for a secure, customizable wear.

The watch itself measures just 23.4 × 20 × 7.5mm, and it arrives in a collector-style box complete with a dedicated silicone display stand—perfect for showcasing when it’s not on your hand.

The Casio G-Shock Nano DWN-5600 series launches in Japan in November, with international availability, including the US and UK, set to follow in the weeks after. If you’ve been waiting for a truly compact, rugged wearable that blends durability, style, and sustainability, this pint-sized G-Shock looks ready to deliver.
