Casio Debuts Trio of Rugged Analog-Digital Watches with Metallic Indexes and 100m Water Resistance

Casio Launches Three Glossy Baby-G BA-110MC Watches in Navy, Lilac, and White

Casio has expanded its Baby-G lineup in the United States with three fresh BA-110MC models, bringing a glossy, fashion-forward twist to one of the brand’s most recognizable analog-digital designs. Priced at $145 each, the new watches arrive in navy, lilac, and white, giving fans of compact, rugged Casio watches a colorful new set of options.

The three models are the BA110MC-2A in navy, the BA110MC-6A in lilac, and the BA110MC-7A in white. While the core design is familiar, Casio has refreshed the look with a shiny resin exterior and metallic dial indexes. The result is a watch that keeps the tough Baby-G personality but adds a more polished, style-focused finish.

Casio describes the design as a blend of Y2K fashion and futuristic flair, and that theme is easy to spot. The dial has the busy, layered analog-digital layout associated with the larger GA-110 series, but it has been scaled down into a smaller and lighter Baby-G case. It keeps the energetic, streetwear-inspired look while making it more wearable for smaller wrists.

The BA-110MC measures 46.3 x 43.4 x 15.8 mm and weighs 45 g. For comparison, the larger GA-110-1A weighs 72 g, making this Baby-G version 27 g lighter. That weight difference should make the BA-110MC more comfortable for daily wear, especially for anyone who likes the bold Casio G-Shock style but prefers a less bulky watch. The resin band fits wrists from 125 to 180 mm.

One small detail in the specifications is worth noting: the minute hand moves every 20 seconds instead of once per minute. That means it steps three times per minute. It may stand out when first wearing the watch, but it is unlikely to affect everyday use.

As expected from a Baby-G watch, the BA-110MC is built for durability. It features shock resistance and 100-meter water resistance, making it suitable for daily wear, workouts, light swimming, and unpredictable weather. It also includes world time across 29 time zones, a 1/100-second stopwatch, a 24-hour countdown timer, five daily alarms, and a full auto-calendar programmed through 2099.

The watch also includes Neobrite coating on the hands for improved visibility in low light, along with an amber LED light that has an afterglow function. Accuracy is rated at plus or minus 30 seconds per month.

Casio has kept the feature set practical rather than premium. The BA-110MC uses mineral glass instead of sapphire crystal, and it does not include solar charging. Power comes from two SR726W batteries, which are expected to last around two years.

At $145, the new Casio Baby-G BA-110MC watches focus mainly on design, wearability, and classic Casio toughness. The glossy resin finish, metallic dial accents, lightweight case, and colorful options make them appealing for buyers looking for a stylish analog-digital watch with dependable everyday features. For fans of the Baby-G series, these three models offer a familiar formula with a cleaner, shinier, and more fashion-ready personality.
